Kansas City Area Chapter News
Posted almost 8 years ago by Gloria Beitler
Dear Members of the Missouri Association of Occupational Health Nurses,
During this past year information has been shared in various ways explaining circumstances involving the Kansas City area chapter incorporation status. The chapter did meet last week and voted to approve the dissolution of the chapter. The members are now members at large of our Missouri State Chapter. While this is a time of change and mixed emotions; the chapter members are excited to remain connected in social ways, as well as during area continuing education opportunities and state events. We hope for continued interest in areas such as serving on the state board as well!
With the dissolution, the chapter voted that once all financial accounts are reconciled, the remaining funds will be transferred to the Missouri state chapter.
I extend my deepest gratitude for all those active in the chapter over many, many years. I look forward to continued relationships for a very long time. I extend a special thank you to Maggi Choplin who has led the Kansas City area chapter so successfully through a very difficult process and time of change. Thank you, Maggi.
Sincerely,
Gloria Beitler, BGS, RN, COHN
